Reducing our environmental footprint:

The Ski~Mojo is proudly made in the heart of the French Alps. Our goal is to oversee the entire process and follow an environmentally and socially responsible approach, relying on short supply chains and creating secure, stable local jobs.

This strategic decision also supports an entire network of expertise, with most of our suppliers located within 100 km of our assembly sites. By limiting transport both upstream and downstream, Ski~Mojo reduces its carbon footprint, minimizes logistics constraints and gains flexibility.

Shorter lead times make the entire production and supply chain more efficient and sustainable. Manufacturing close to where the Ski~Mojo is used – in the mountains – also fosters transparency, collaboration and quality follow-up with the professionals and retailers who share their expertise. A genuine win-win for the end user.

Equipment built to last:

The Ski~Mojo was created to meet the needs of both occasional skiers and professionals who use it daily, season after season. Durability was therefore a key priority from the outset. This commitment is supported by our warranties and repair services, which are designed to extend the life of every product.

And because any mechanical device can eventually wear or break, the Ski~mojo’s modular design makes it fully and easily repairable. This approach limits the use of new materials, reduces waste and helps protect the environment.

Reuse: a priority!

When a Ski~Mojo needs servicing, most of the replaced parts are collected by our team at the end of the season. To give them a second life, each part is carefully inspected and, whenever possible, repaired and reused as reconditioned equipment. When reuse is no longer an option, Ski~Mojo partners with two organizations specializing in recycling and waste recovery.

The production of the Ski~Mojo also reflects an inclusive approach, entrusted to two workshops that mainly employ people with disabilities: AFIPH and ADTP. This virtuous choice came naturally, as the Ski~Mojo assembly is primarily manual. It calls for focus and real dedication, qualities that immediately inspired both workshops, eager to motivate and challenge their teams.

Ski~Mojo is also proud to contribute financially – as far as we can – to a number of sports associations or causes close to our hearts.

Customs duties – shipments to the United States

Due to recent regulatory changes, significant customs duties and import fees may apply to all orders shipped to the United States. These charges may range from 15% to 50% of the order value.

⚠️ These charges are determined by U.S. customs authorities and are therefore not included in the order total or shipping fees.

They are the sole responsibility of the customer and are directly charged by the carrier (typically DHL, FedEx, or UPS) or local authorities upon import. Additionally, due to the current workload of customs authorities, some shipments may be held in customs for several days, beyond our control.

By placing an order, you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • you are responsible for paying all customs duties and import fees,
  • these charges will be requested directly by the carrier before delivery,
  • additional delays due to customs processing may occur,
  • refusal to pay will result in refusal of delivery.

In the event of refusal :

  • the goods may be returned to us or disposed of by the carrier or US authorities,
  • no refund will be issued, as this constitutes a failure by the customer to fulfill their contractual obligations, even if the goods are returned,
  • return costs, if any, remain the responsibility of the customer.

You nevertheless retain your right of withdrawal, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. However, this right can only be exercised after delivery has been accepted and the goods received, as refusal to accept delivery prevents the return of the goods. Please note that, in the event of exercising your right of withdrawal, you will need to contact the U.S. authorities directly to request any potential refund of the customs duties you have previously paid.

I acknowledge that customs duties (15 to 50%) imposed and collected by the U.S. government may apply and are not included in the order or shipping fees. I agree to pay these charges when requested by the carrier (DHL, FedEx, UPS). I understand that no refund will be issued if I refuse to pay these charges. Failure to pay these charges will therefore result in the loss of your order without refund.
